Introduction to Environmental Management (Systems & Standards)
This half day course provides delegates with an introduction to Environmental Management Systems and the different standards of good practice that businesses can achieve including ISO 14001, BS8555 and EMAS.
EMS Implementation Training (using BS8555 Approach)
This course is broken down into 6 modules corresponding with the six phases of BS8555, a new standard developed for small business. This divides the task of developing an Environmental Management System into "manageable chunks", while still working towards achieving ISO 14001 or EMAS. Delegates can choose to attend the whole course or just select the modules appropriate to the phase they want their business to reach. At the end of the course delegates will have the skills and practical experience to develop an EMS with minimal guidance.
Workforce Environmental Awareness Sessions
These sessions aim to inspire and motivate your employees to contribute to your environmental improvement goals. Sessions are tailored to the specific environmental issues and ambitions of your organisation. We have the flexibility to deliver in the sessions in a way to suit the target audience (tool box talks, management / board briefings). If you are seeking to raise awareness as part of your work towards ISO 14001 then we can ensure that these sessions fulfil the requirements of ISO 14001 clause 4.4.2 Competence, Training and Awareness.
